High Temperature Gasification is superior to windmill power as a green technology.

Our governments invest and support the development of energies generated by renewable resources, particularly those from wind energy. In Quebec, this is done by agreeing to purchase, on the basis of 12,5 cents per kwh, the electricity generated from Wind Power. This compares to 10,0 cents per kwh that they anticipate from the most current Hydro project planned on the river “La Romaine” and to 7,5 cents to other conventional Energy generating projects.

If the 12,5 Cents rate offered for the Electricity from Wind Power was also offered to the “Power from Gasification” energies, now available through “High Temperature Gasification”, this would help to solve problems related to the handling of all residual waste generated in Quebec and to stop completely the landfill operations. And with a technology that produces electricity without any pollution, with no residual waste and with a 100% recycling rate, all at a reasonable cost.

It is important to note that “High Temperature Gasification” now available in Canada, would greatly simplify the overall management of waste problems. Developed in Europe, this technology has no negative impacts on climate changes and on the quality of life of the population. The great advantage of the technology is its ability to generate abundant renewable green energy, while recycling 100% of our residual waste, without any emissions nor landfill.

Contrary to other gasification technologies currently under development and in their experimental stages, the Thermoselect technology is the only one that is patented internationally and which has a number of plants (7) currently operating at a sustained Industrially significant level. Japan is ahead of Canada by 7 plants and by 12 years of operations.

Many Quebec Municipalities and many world experts familiar with High Temperature Gasification all agree that the technology is the most advanced and the best currently available on the market . To proceed with its installation in Quebec would create 4 “First” in America: (1) Process the waste without any pollution whatsoever, (2) 100% recycling (3) Produce Green Renewable Energy and (4) Stop landfill and the GHG that landfill produces.

IS IT NOT TIME TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE PRODUCTION OF GREEN RENEWABLE ENERGY FROM WASTE, BY THE HIGH TEMPERATURE TECHNOLOGY AND TO MAKE QUEBEC THE LEADER IN THAT FIELD ?
